About the event
Join us for a talk on the World's End Murders at Currie Library at 6pm on 11 March.
In October 1977 Edinburgh teenagers Helen Scott and Christine Eadie went missing after last being seen at the World's End pub on the Royal Mile.
Their abduction and brutal murder shocked the city and led to the longest continuous murder investigation in Scottish history, yet the identity of their killer remained a mystery for decades. This is the inside story, warts and all, of one of the most consequential murder cases in Scottish legal history, told by one of the senior detectives who led the case, Tom Wood.
Tom's true crime book, The World's End Murders: The Inside Story will be available to buy at the event, signed and at a special promotional price. As well as his other books; Ruxton - The First Modern Murder and The Bombing of Edinburg…
